The Boys & Girls Club Tennis Invitational has become the premier amateur tennis tournament in the Mid-South. In its 26 year history, the tournament has raised over $2.75 million dollars to help the Clubs provide a positive place for over 7,000 members and open doors to opportunity.
It all began on the grounds of the Racquet Club of Memphis back in 1998. A group of supporters decided the best way to raise funds for BGCM was to bring their passion for tennis and support for BGCM together. They started the 1st Annual Tennis Invitational not knowing how their actions would impact the tennis community or our Club members over the last 26 years!
Serving Memphis youth through 19 Club locations and the Juice Plus+ Technical Training Center, no child is ever turned away from receiving vital programs in academic success, good character & citizenship, healthy lifestyles, and career readiness. We are grateful to the founding group who are still engaged and actively planning this year’s event and to all the players, guests, and supporters of the Tennis Invitational over the last 26 years.
